If you have skin redness on your face — a very common skin complaint — you've probably tried a bunch of things to alleviate it. But have you tried nasal spray?

Hear us out, because dermatologist Dr. Sandra Lee — also known as Dr. Pimple Popper — blew our minds with a double-duty skincare hack.

"If you get an over-the-counter nasal spray that has oxymetazoline in it," the pimple-popping YouTube sensation explains, "that will actually help to temporarily constrict blood vessels."

"If you put it on," she continues, "you could actually see a lessening of your redness for the next few hours or so."

Yep, you literally apply the nasal spray ON your cheeks, being careful to cover your eyes — but Dr. Pimple Popper suggests mixing it with a bit of moisturizer first.

"It's not something that's long-lasting," she says, "[but] it's a good thing to do in a pinch."
