Even though fans might not be happy that "The Good Place" is ending after 4 seasons, Ted Danson promises it's for the best.
"It's wonderful that it's ending the way it is," Ted tells Rach. "The writer, Mike Shur — who's such an elegant man — realized, when they started the writer's room before we started the last season, that he will have told that story [by] the end of the season."
"This is about how we think the universe might work, and it's our little gift," he continues. "To pad it out and to make it something about longevity for money became kind of silly. What's elegant about it is that we got to appreciate each other in the moment, knowing [it was the last season]."
