Dr. Drew Pinsky gives advice to a couple who admit they have very different definitions of what the word "clean" means, which has led to a constant power struggle.
"You have a shared household. You each get part responsibility no matter how much you're working," he says. "You don't get to opt out of your home responsibilities merely because you're a man or because you're working a lot."
The doc's advice? "Maybe you try switching roles for five days." That way, they can each try to see the situation from the other person's perspective.
