Rach sweetens up Mother's Day with a quick and simple recipe for boozy fresh berries topped with whipped cream, chopped fresh mint and crunchy amaretti (Italian macaroon cookies).
For Mother's Day brunch, Rach served these berries alongside her French Onion Monte Cristo with Spring Greens Salad and John's "Sundays with Mom" Cocktail.
Sprinkle berries with sugar and Lillet Blanc or Amaretto. Let sit for several minutes to macerate. Serve with citrus zest and or crushed amaretti, bits of mint, and crème fraiche or whipped cream on top.
