In the mood for pasta tonight? Even if you’re not, you will be after reading this. Rachael knows pasta, and we’re sharing eight very different but equally mouthwatering spaghetti recipes! Don’t say we didn’t warn you!
This scrumptious dish is exactly what it sounds like – spaghetti with B – bacon, L – Romaine lettuce and T – cherry tomatoes. Rach also adds in olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic, spring onions, thyme, basil and Pecorino cheese.
No. 2: Garlic and Lemon Spaghetti
This fresh and delicious spaghetti is super simple, but don’t let that fool you – it packs a big flavor punch! A delicate sauce of garlic and lemon-infused olive and herbs is tossed with al dente spaghetti. We’re drooling over here!
No. 3: Mushroom and Shallot Spaghetti with Crispy Prosciutto
Spaghetti is tossed with a veritable mountain of sautéed mushrooms, shallots and garlic, and accented with parsley, freshly grated cheese, prosciutto and walnuts. Yum!
No. 4: Umami Meat Sauce and Spaghetti
This umami meat sauce has a secret weapon – sundried tomato paste! How could you possibly get a more concentrated tomato flavor? The complex beef sauce also includes anchovies, sweet vermouth and thyme, among other ingredients.
No. 5: 21-Clove Garlic Spaghetti
Can’t get enough garlic? Well, this dish (which is sure to keep the vampires away) will serve up three (!) entire bulbs of garlic. Roast one bulb, thinly slice and fry another, and mince the third to go into an olive oil and lemon sauce. Serve with Parmigiano Reggiano. Yes, please!
No. 6: Chianti-Glazed Spaghetti or Linguini with Rosemary and Pecorino
This spaghetti is literally cooked in red wine and rosemary, absorbing the wine’s rich, earthy flavor, and is then tossed with butter and Pecorino cheese. Simple but powerful!
No. 7: Tomato Sauce with Mushrooms and “Fat Spaghetti”
The “fat spaghetti” or bucatini, in this dish, is tossed with a rich mushroom sauce made from reconstituted porcini mushrooms and fresh cremini mushrooms.
No. 8: Rotisserie Chicken Cold Noodles
This is a totally different take on spaghetti noodles, but one that is a quick and delicious weeknight option. Start with a shredded grocery store rotisserie chicken, then cook some spaghetti noodles to al dente and allow to cool. Toss with a delicious and easy homemade Asian-inspired dressing, peanuts, red onion, scallions, basil and lettuce. Delish!
