This week marks the start of preseason football, a moment fans everywhere have been waiting for in order to get a peek at their team and see how they fared over the off season. To celebrate, we’re launching a new feature: App of the Week! Every Friday during football season, we’ll bring you an easy and delicious appetizer you can prepare for game day!
For week one, we’re bringing you a yummy cheese ball that will get you in the mood for football.
Touchdown Tex Mex Cheese Ball Football
This football-shaped cheese ball is made from a blend of cream cheese, a Mexican shredded cheese blend, pickled jalapenos, red onion, cilantro, lime juice and spices. Mix it all up, then shape it into the shape of a football and use thin-sliced olives to make the stitching on top. Serve with bell pepper sticks and tortilla chips. So fun and so delish!
