You've surely heard of acne. You might have heard of "bacne" (a.k.a. back acne). But have you heard of "maskne" … ?
You guessed it — it's "mask acne" from wearing a face mask during coronavirus. A small price to pay to help fight the spread, of course, but you don't have to live with the breakouts, The Honest Company founder Jessica Alba says.
In fact, that's why she created the latest Honest sensitive skincare line. (Nope, she doesn't just make baby products!)
"We basically developed this line because of everyone wearing masks and maskne," Jessica says. "It's a thing."
"It's masks to fix the maskne," she says about her 3-in-1 Detox Mud Mask.
And her husband, Cash Warren (who has his own basics clothing company called Pair Of Thieves), was her guinea pig when she was first developing it. (Spoiler alert: Rach's hubby, John, loves it now, too!)

"I wanted to develop one that detoxed and pulled impurities away," the actress explains, "but also is soft and doesn't dry out your skin."
Before applying the mud mask on Cash, Jessica starts with her Calm On Foaming Cleanser.
"During the day, I also like to use the Everything Matte Primer [after the mud mask]," she continues, "because it's something that you normally think of for women when they apply makeup. But I actually like to use it on Cash where he gets a little bit more oily."
"[We use] clean ingredients, [and practice] transparency, using safer, alternative ingredients, instead of the more conventional ones," the mom of three adds. "But then also just [make] sure that it actually works."
The best part? The products don't break the bank, either.
"What I admire most about your company is that you keep things affordable and accessible for people," Rach says. And that's why she has favorites of her own:
"I'm obsessed," Rach says about the multi-purpose balm for the face, lips and body.
"This is something men or women can use," Jessica says, "because it's essentially just a hydrating eye cream, but has a little bit of pigment to hide that blue."
