You Know Those Sock Boots You're Seeing All Over the Place? Here’s How to Make Your Own!

You may have noticed *a lot* of runway models and celebrities rocking sock-like shoes and booties.

"This is the biggest trend we’re seeing on the runways [and] all over street style," Marie Claire Senior Fashion Editor Zanna Roberts Rassi says.

But did you know you could recreate the look at home without having to buy a pair?

Well, you can -- and Zanna showed us how!

She turned a pair of standard black pumps into a sock boot by putting a knee-high black sock right over the shoe and snipping two holes in the sock for traction -- one by the heel and one by the sole.

(That last step is KEY. You don’t want to go slipping all over the place!)
